Oracle Version of PNet to interface with A/P and HR systems.

Red Bank, NJ

February 17, 2004 - Home Box Office recently licensed PurchasingNet's eProcurement Software to streamline purchasing activities throughout the organization. HBO is a division of Time Warner, Inc., and is headquartered in New York City.

PurchasingNet, Inc. recently installed the Oracle Version of PurchasingNet Software at HBO headquarters. The software configuration includes Catalog Junction, Requisitioning with Punch-Out, Purchasing, Receiving and Invoice Matching.

An AP connector will allow PNet to be interfaced with HBO's Accounting System. An HR Connector will integrate PurchasingNet with HBO's data warehouse of employee information.

"By following our Proven Path Deployment Methodology, HBO will be up and running in just sixteen weeks - including PNet's full integration with HBO's legacy systems", said Andy Russo, PurchasingNet's Project Manager for HBO.

The implementation of PNet is the cornerstone of HBO's new Procurement and Strategic Sourcing initiative. "PNet was the most intuitive and flexible package of those evaluated", said Steve Lefkowitz, Director of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing at HBO. "In addition to the quality of their software, their expert staff and ease of implementation made PurchasingNet the obvious choice", said Lefkowitz.
