Tim McEneny, CEO & President


Tim McEneny
President and CEO

Mr. McEneny is responsible for the overall direction and management of PurchasingNet, Inc. Mr. McEneny is the driving force behind the creation of the company's products. He is widely acknowledged as one of the world's leading authorities on Procurement and Inventory Control. He is credited with developing the first-ever Windows-based Purchasing system and the first Web-based Procurement system, PNet.

Prior to co-founding PurchasingNet, Mr. McEneny was a leading international management consultant to companies implementing various ERP/MRP II software packages. As a practitioner, Mr. McEneny was a Materials Manager at Singer, IBM, and Sara Lee.

Mr. McEneny is a frequent speaker at international conferences for APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) and the Institute for Supply Management™ (formerly the NAPM - National Association of Purchasing Management). He was recently featured in "Net Future", a New York Times Bestseller, authored by Internet expert, Chuck Martin. Mr. McEneny himself authored the book, "Up the Manufacturing Organization: The Modern Materials Management Guide to Survival". Mr. McEneny also authored the Chapter on eProcurement in "The Handbook of eBusiness".

Mr. McEneny is certified at the Fellow Level by APICS. Mr. McEneny earned a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) from Lehigh University.

   
   
Laurene Fielder, SVP, Professional Services

Ms. Fielder is responsible for the total customer experience with PurchasingNet's software. She is the creator of the company's Proven Path Deployment Methodology™, which guarantees a fast implementation with maximum ROI. The Professional Services staff and Customer Care Department report to Ms. Fielder. Ms. Fielder and her team were recent recipients of CIO Magazine's prestigious 'CIO 100 Award' for excellence in customer service.

Along with her management team, Ms. Fielder also oversees the company's daily operations including Human Resources, Information Technology, Testing and QC, Contract Administration and facilities.

Prior to co-founding PurchasingNet in 1983, Ms. Fielder held various sales positions at GE Information Services (GEIS) and Automatic Data Processing (ADP). She consistently exceeded sales objectives and achieved GE's prestigious Markmaker status on numerous occasions. Ms. Fielder completed the one-year GE training program after graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Marketing Communications from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ms. Fielder is a licensed pilot.

Mr. Davis has Management responsibility for PurchasingNet's Sales and Marketing organizations; including Regional Sales, Inside Sales, and Channel Partner management.

Mr. Davis brings more than 13 years experience in the Supply Chain technology field to PurchasingNet. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Davis was a Managing Partner with a fast-growing eSourcing technology firm, where he was responsible for directing the Sales & Marketing efforts. Other accomplishments include growing two successful Supply Chain technology start-up's and becoming a top-ranked Sales Executive at Sterling Commerce.

Mr. Davis holds a degree in Civil Engineering and graduated Chi Epsilon from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

   
Andy Russo, Director, Enterprise Solutions

Mr. Russo is responsible for directing the implementation of PNet at PurchasingNet's high-profile customers. Recent engagements include Spear, Leeds and Kellogg (Goldman Sachs), Skadden Arps, Baker & McKenzie, and Ocwen Financial. Mr. Russo is also responsible for the design and operation of the company's web-site. His designs have received numerous awards including the 1998 and 1999 'Best of the Net' Award from About.com (formerly The Mining Company).

Mr. Russo joined PurchasingNet in 1989 as the Manager of Customer Care. He was responsible for designing and implementing the company's customer support programs, which have resulted in a very high level of customer satisfaction. Mr. Russo graduated from Brookdale College.

   
Erick Schutz, Managing Director, Product Development

Mr. Schutz is responsible for PurchasingNet's technical strategy and product architecture. Mr. Schutz and his team manage all aspects of the PNet development process including design, coding, testing, and delivery of both new products and upgrades. His team is also responsible for delivery of standard and custom software, including interfaces to legacy systems.

Mr. Schutz is the Chief Architect of PurchasingNet-SQL and is responsible for the company's product transformation from a shrink-wrapped (Purchasing) departmental solution, to an Enterprise-wide, Web-based eProcurement software suite. Most recently Mr. Schutz incubated PurchasingNet's Enterprise Spend Management (PNET-ESM) system.

Mr. Schutz created PurchasingNet's Product Improvement Program™ as a means to continually enhance and improve the company's software based on user input. Prior to joining PurchasingNet, Mr. Schutz was a lead systems/analyst at Consumers Union, publisher of Consumer Reports Magazine.

Mr. Schutz holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).

   
Barbara Olsavsky, VP Client Services Barbara Olsavsky
VP, Client Services

Ms. Olsavsky is responsible for supporting PurchasingNet's technology including telephony/VPN, application hosting, and disaster recovery. In her role supervising the lifecycle of PurchasingNet-SQL technology, she specifies hardware, operating systems and databases for new releases. She and her team also manage the Testing and QA process for the company.

Ms. Olsavsky originally joined PurchasingNet's Support Department in 1997. She operated as a technical resource on complex database, hardware and network matters. Prior to joining PurchasingNet, Ms. Olsavsky was employed at UPS providing IT infrastructure support. Additionally, Ms. Olsavsky managed the IT Department for a mid-sized New Jersey manufacturer. Ms. Olsavsky has extensive experience in technology conversions of hardware, network, and software platforms as well as administering the processes to effectively support deployed technology.

Ms. Olsavsky holds numerous certificates in technology related to PurchasingNet-SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, XP, etc.) and is a graduate of Brookdale College.

   
Joe Fallon, Director, Framework Development

Mr. Fallon is responsible for the development and implementation of electronic catalog technology. Mr. Fallon is credited with the creation of Catalog Junction (eCatalog) mapping software. Catalog Junction has been implemented by each of the company's PNet customers.

Prior to joining PurchasingNet, Mr. Fallon joined Nestle Chocolate and Confection as an Assistant Plant Engineer after completing five years of service in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the Field Artillery. During his tenure at Nestle USA, Mr. Fallon held various positions in Industrial Engineering and IT.

Mr. Fallon joined PurchasingNet in December 1998 as a Senior Implementation Consultant. He has provided technical and management guidance to PNet clients such as American Financial Group, General Mills, Ogilvy & Mather, Covington & Burling, Sara Lee and Navy Federal Credit Union.

Mr. Fallon graduated Phi Kappa Phi from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. Mr. Fallon is the 1981 recipient of the General Omar Bradley Award as the Academy's No. 1 Mathematics major.

Mr. Taggart is responsible for the development and growth of the Professional Services division of PurchasingNet. Recent engagements include Countrywide Financial, Liz Claiborne, and XM Satellite Radio.

Mr. Taggart has extensive experience in project management and has managed implementations of Executive Information Systems, Manufacturing Control Systems, Automated Warehousing, Supply Chain Process Improvements, and Global ERP Systems.

Mr. Taggart has over 30 years in manufacturing and supply chain management, including 15 years as a senior manufacturing/logistics consultant for a global computer systems manufacturer. He has B.S. Industrial Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology/Newark College of Engineering and is certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Integrated Resource Management through APICS (The Educational Society for Resource Management).

   
Eileen Durkin, Controller Eileen Durkin

Ms. Durkin is responsible for the company's finance operations, including financial planning, client billing, accounting, reporting and taxation. She oversees PurchasingNet's Administration personnel, facilities and real estate.

Ms. Durkin has over ten years of financial management experience. Prior to joining PurchasingNet, Ms. Durkin managed a financial reporting unit at Prudential Securities. In this role, she was responsible for financial reporting, financial planning and strategy. Previously, Ms. Durkin served in various positions in three operating divisions at Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corp. (HSBC) in New York City. In her last role at HSBC, Eileen was an Assistant Vice President at HSBC Securities where her responsibilities included managing the daily monetary needs of the firm.

Ms. Durkin holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Fordham University and a B.S. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

Ms. Swenarton is responsible for the Customer Support Team at PurchasingNet. Linda started with PurchasingNet in 1991 as a Customer Support Representative. Over the past 16 years, Linda has been responsible for maintaining a consistently high level of customer satisfaction and as result was recently promoted to Director of Customer Support. Prior to joining PurchasingNet, Linda worked at the Department of Army - Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) on the CECOM Automated System for Procurement (CASPR) project.

Ms. Swenarton works with the Professional Services Group during implementations and is responsible for the on-going support of every account after implementation. Linda and her team were recent recipients of CIO Magazine's prestigious "CIO 100 Award" for excellence in customer service. Additionally, Linda’s team received high marks in a recent Customer Satisfaction Survey of PurchasingNet’s client base. On a scale of 1-to 10 (with 10 being best), PurchasingNet clients rated their satisfaction with Support at 9.4. Over 90% of respondents reported that PurchasingNet’s Client Support exceeded their expectations.

Ms. Swenarton holds an M.S. Ed. from Temple University and a B.S. in Education from Villanova University.

Ms. Tarpey is responsible for PurchasingNet’s branding, positioning, promotions, press relations, and lead generation efforts.

Prior to joining PurchasingNet, Ms. Tarpey gained over 12 years of experience at advertising agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, Merkley Newman Harty and Athorn Clark & Partners, working primarily with B2B and Consumer technology clients such as FreeMarkets, Tyco, Cognizant Technology Solutions, CMP Publications, Kodak Digital Imaging and BellSouth. Before making the move to in-house marketing, Ms. Tarpey was a VP & Partner at the NY-based agency, Biederman Kelly Krimstein & Partners where she handled the communications needs for New York University, Western Union, and Tri-State Cadillac, among others.

Ms. Tarpey holds a B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations from Lehigh University.

   
Debbie Adams, Manager, IT & Application Support Debbie Adams
Manager, IT and Application Support


Ms. Adams is responsible for PurchasingNet's Information Technology infrastructure. She is directly responsible for resolving all technical issues and plays a critical role in strategic planning to continuously improve PurchasingNet's IT infrastucture capabilities and performance improvement.

Ms. Adams has 10 years experience in Information Technology. Prior to joining PurchasingNet, Ms. Adams managed the IT support and Quality Assurance teams for the Homecare Division of Misys Healthcare Systems. In this role she managed the core infrastructure and daily support functions including network operations, server, and end-user support. She also managed the QA software release process.

Ms. Adams is a graduate of Ocean County College and The Chubb Institute.
