PNet Customers Increase ROI Through New Offering

October 15, 2007 – Recently, PurchasingNet, Inc. (www.PurchasingNet.com) introduced the PNet Optimization Service for existing PNet eProcurement & ePayables customers. Designed as a complete “tune-up,” the PNet Optimization Service helps companies improve process effectiveness, identify training requirements, increase PNet Software utilization, and maximize the ROI achieved through the PNet implementation.

Each PNet Optimization Service engagement includes on-site interviews with key personnel in Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Finance/Accounting, IT, and other functional areas that request products and/or services through PNet. The customer's PNet data is analyzed - in a completely secure environment - to determine opportunities for improvement. The findings are then published in an Executive Summary for each customer.

In a recently completed PNet Optimization engagement, one customer experienced:

  • Annual savings of $450,000 from one idea that required no additional investment
  • 56 ideas for improvement, 47 of which required no out-of-pocket investment
  • Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal Audit compliance
